Corrections Policy
Our Commitment to Accuracy
A Chat With AI is committed to factual accuracy in all published content. When errors are identified — whether by our editorial process or by readers — we take prompt action to correct the record.
How We Handle Corrections
When a factual error is confirmed in a published article, we follow this process:
- The article is updated with the corrected information.
- A visible correction notice is appended to the article, noting what was changed and when the correction was made.
- If the error is material to the article's central argument or conclusions, the correction notice is placed at the top of the article.
- The original erroneous text is not silently deleted; the correction notice describes what was changed.
Minor corrections — such as typographical errors, broken links, or formatting issues — may be made without a formal correction notice.
Reporting an Error
If you believe you have found a factual error in any of our published content, reach out via LinkedIn. Include the article URL, the specific claim you believe to be inaccurate, and any supporting evidence or sources.
Report a correction
Send a direct message to Patrick on LinkedIn with the article URL, the claim in question, and any supporting sources. Corrections are reviewed promptly.
Message Patrick on LinkedInEditorial Updates vs. Corrections
We distinguish between corrections (fixing factual errors) and editorial updates (adding new information, refining analysis, or improving clarity). Editorial updates do not receive a formal correction notice but may include an "Updated" note with a date if the changes are substantive.
