The most useful contributions are:

• Public records requests you sent, with the response (or non-response) you received.
• Legislator outreach — who you contacted, what the conversation was, what followed.
• Journalist pitches — what got picked up, what didn't, what reporters asked for.
• Refusals and denials in any form. The pattern of refusals is itself a story.
